• The N Level Art syllabuses is aimed to help students to
develop critical thinking and process skills.
• Students do not only focus on art practical skills, but also
required to analyze and value any artwork without prior
contextual knowledge.

• PAPER 1 - Coursework (NA) / Portfolio (NT)
(students are allowed to choose from a variety art
practices such as fine art, design or media to work on
a given theme )

‘O’ and ‘N’ Level:
• Students are required to sit for a
3 hr paper.
• Paper are given 3 weeks in
advance.
• Students can attempt 1 of the 6
themes given.
• 5 A3 size supporting studies
must be submitted.
• Final artwork can be done on A3
or A2 size.

Entry Criteria for Art elective students:
• You must attain 70% and above in the art subject
for EOY exam
• Your overall result for the end-of-year
examination must be good.
• Those who did not attain 70% and above in
the EOY exam must sit for aptitude test to
confirm their placement in streaming.
