This document outlines the syllabus for the GCE NA Level Design and Technology course. The aims of the course are to develop students' creativity, innovation, communication skills, and ability to work with materials and tools to solve problems through design projects. Students will learn to refine their ideas, make aesthetic, technical and economic judgments, and develop an awareness of design's social and environmental impacts. The course also focuses on developing safe working habits. The exam consists of a paper testing knowledge of design and technology areas, and a design project where students identify a design opportunity based on a given theme and document the process in a design journal before presenting their final solution.
