This dissertation explores how the fear of deportation impacts the lives of noncitizen immigrants and their ability to integrate into their communities. The study aims to understand how vulnerability to deportation affects an individual immigrant's life and degree of integration. Qualitative data was collected through focus groups and interviews with noncitizen immigrants. The findings reveal that the fear of deportation causes emotional and psychological distress for immigrants. This distress creates barriers to integration and leads immigrants to have negative perceptions of their reception in the United States. The fear of deportation constitutes a form of "legal violence" perpetuated by harsh immigration laws. The vulnerability to deportation and associated fear impedes both individual integration and community cohesion.

Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies that share a common stated aim: to define, establish, and defend equal political, economic, cultural, and social rights of women rights. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment. A feminist generally self-defines as advocating for or supporting the rights and equality of women. Feminist theory which emerged from feminist movements aims to understand the nature of gender inequality by examining women's social roles and lived experience; it has developed theories in a variety of disciplines in order to respond to issues such as the social construction of sex and gender. Some forms of feminism have been criticized for taking into account only white, middle-class, educated perspectives. This led to the creation of ethnically specific or multiculturalist forms of feminism.

Microfinance and microcredit programs aim to empower women economically and socially. Studies have shown that providing credit to women without requiring collateral allows them to increase household incomes, build assets, and gain confidence to challenge gender inequalities. Research on microcredit programs in Bangladesh found that women's access to credit significantly increased their economic contributions, asset holdings, purchasing power, and awareness of political and legal systems. It also correlated with greater mobility, political participation, and involvement in decision-making.

Microfinance, micro entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment: The concept of women’s empowerment was first invoked by third world feminists and women’s organizations in 1970s (Bisnath, 2001; Datta and Kornberg, 2002; Mosedale, 2003). Women’s empowerment can be understood as a process whereby women, individually and collectively, become aware of how power relations operate in their lives and gain the self-confidence and strength to challenge gender inequalities (Oxaal and Baden, 1997). Empowerment is related to change and microfinance has changed women status socially, economically and politically. Micro credit is a mechanism under which credit is provided to the poorest of the poor on a group liability basis instead of any collateral. From the evidence of millions of microfinance clients around the world, Littlefield et al. (2003) demonstrate that access to financial services enables poor people to increase their household incomes, build assets and reduce their vulnerability to the crises that are so much a part of their daily lives. In a study of Grameen Bank and BRAC, Hashemi et al. (1996) investigates, whether women’s access to credit has any impact on their lives. Their results show that women’s access to credit contributes significantly to the magnitude of the economic contributions, an increase in asset holdings in their own names, an increase in their exercise of purchasing power and in their political and legal awareness. The study also finds that access to credit is also associated with higher levels of mobility, political participation and involvement in major decision-making for particular credit organizations. Bernasek (2003) explores three indicators of women empowerment regarding micro credit through Grameen Bank perspective: women’s power control over family-planning decisions; women’s power concerns violence against women and indicator of empowerment concerns the ability of women to health and education of their children.

Research on microcredit programs in Bangladesh found that women's access to credit significantly increased their economic contributions, asset holdings, purchasing power, and awareness of political and legal systems. It also correlated with greater mobility, political participation, and involvement in decision-making.

Microfinance, micro entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment: The concept of women’s empowerment was first invoked by third world feminists and women’s organizations in 1970s (Bisnath, 2001; Datta and Kornberg, 2002; Mosedale, 2003). Women’s empowerment can be understood as a process whereby women, individually and collectively, become aware of how power relations operate in their lives and gain the self-confidence and strength to challenge gender inequalities (Oxaal and Baden, 1997). Empowerment is related to change and microfinance has changed women status socially, economically and politically. Micro credit is a mechanism under which credit is provided to the poorest of the poor on a group liability basis instead of any collateral. From the evidence of millions of microfinance clients around the world, Littlefield et al. (2003) demonstrate that access to financial services enables poor people to increase their household incomes, build assets and reduce their vulnerability to the crises that are so much a part of their daily lives. In a study of Grameen Bank and BRAC, Hashemi et al. (1996) investigates, whether women’s access to credit has any impact on their lives. Their results show that women’s access to credit contributes significantly to the magnitude of the economic contributions, an increase in asset holdings in their own names, an increase in their exercise of purchasing power and in their political and legal awareness. The study also finds that access to credit is also associated with higher levels of mobility, political participation and involvement in major decision-making for particular credit organizations. Bernasek (2003) explores three indicators of women empowerment regarding micro credit through Grameen Bank perspective: women’s power control over family-planning decisions; women’s power concerns violence against women and indicator of empowerment concerns the ability of women to health and education of their children.

those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate

sexuality. The abuse can encompass, but it is not limited to

• Domestic abuse has a tremendous impact on overall wellbeing with long-lasting health
consequences such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), (NHS, 2018).
• Due to accumulative stress over time the survivors tend to develop unhealthy coping
mechanisms such as alcohol and drug abuse (Women’s Aid, 2020).
• Reports suggest that 36% of women who have been severe abused physically or sexually have
attempted suicide (Women’s Aid, 2020).
• Bartley (2012, cited in Backwith, 2015) reiterate how domestic abuse can affect the emotional
behaviour of children resulting in adverse childhood experiences which then leads to
relationship problems hence increasing the risk of children becoming abusers in adulthood.

£66 billion in the year ending 2017. The framework cost comprises three distinct: Anticipation

Definition of Women Empowerment
The concept of women empowerment is gaining significance all over the world as evidenced by the measures taken by major countries, researches made by academicians of universities, and initiatives taken by international platforms like United Nations. The existing research and literature indicate that concept of women empowerment appeared in the second half of the twentieth century. But historical facts show that this concept appeared in 7th century when Islam religion came into being. The rights of women as given in the Qura’n and the traditions of Prophet Muhammad were a revolutionary step in the 7th century.
Spiritual equality of sexes has been recognized in Islam. This is due to the recognition by classical Muslim jurisprudence of the essential inequality of men and women and division of rights of women into different categories as wife, mother and daughter instead of women’s rights(Mandal,2013).
The rights given in Qura’n, though revolutionary at that time, recognized the need for a gradual approach towards achievement of the full message of the Qura’n. The United Nations in this regard played an important role by emphasizing a gender focus approach and enhancing critical importance of women empowerment through declaration of the ‘Women’s Decade’ in 1975.(Mandal,2013)
The concept of women empowerment is a boiling issue all over the world. Women Empowerment refers to "increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women, to ensure equal-right to women, and to make them confident enough to claim their rights".(Teamwork,2015)
The concept in this wider and comprehensive sense became popular through the United Nations specialized institutions in the beginning of the 1990’s. The United Nations various institutions became especially aware of the increasing significance of women’s empowerment to the success of development programs in developing countries. This paper traces the relationship of women’s sexuality and their health and tries to see how it shapes their lives and perspective of well-being. Women’s reproductive health has never been an independent concern except in relation to their reproductive capacities. It focuses on the linkages between women’s choice, autonomy, voices, rights and state health policies imposed on them. This paper also explores the shaping of the ‘motherhood’ imagery used by leaders of so called nation building. It is argued here that women are viewed as mother goddesses and expected to fulfill their motherly roles for nation building rather than acknowledge their existence as an individual having independent choice and rights. The article locates the discourse of sexuality, fertility and population control in pre- and post-independence India and its impact over women’s control of their body, fertility and access to basic health services through larger political debates and policy frameworks.

Statistics show that a woman is molested every 26 minutes and a rape is reported every 36 minutes in India. Empowering women through education, access to resources, and political participation can help address these issues. A multifaceted approach is needed that includes education, healthcare, infrastructure development, ensuring property and inheritance rights, closing the gender gap in employment, increasing women's representation in government, and preventing violence against women. Political will and mobilizing change agents at all levels of society are essential to bringing about the deep transformations needed for a gender-equal society.

Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.

Since our release of the PGx capabilities in VarSeq, we’ve had a few months to gather some insights from various use cases. Some users approach PGx workflows by means of array genotyping or what seems to be a growing trend of adding the star allele calling to the existing NGS pipeline for whole genome data. Luckily, both approaches are supported with the VarSeq software platform. The genotyping method being used will also dictate what the scope of the tertiary analysis will be. For example, are your PGx reports a standalone pipeline or would your lab’s goal be to handle a dual-purpose workflow and report on PGx + Diagnostic findings.
