Cherry Salmon have dark green backs, silvery white bellies, and oval spots on their bodies. They live 3-4 years in the Cijiawan river wetland in Shei-Pa National Park, where they eat insects. Building dams could destroy their habitat and cause their numbers to decrease, so their habitat from 10 years ago needs to be restored to protect these special salmon.
