This document outlines a course curriculum focused on building students' skills in ophthalmic patient care. The curriculum includes activities to help students learn how to take complete medical histories, perform diagnostic tests, and assist eye practitioners. Students will practice these skills through activities like mock patient exams, lab practice, and service learning projects. Their work will be assessed through exams, skills demonstrations, worksheets, and reflections to evaluate students' knowledge and integration of course concepts into real-world patient care experiences.
