Due to a developed aesthe�c sensibility
during four years in Fine Art High School, in
my work ethos, I put a strong emphasis on
crea�ve thinking expressed through my
sketching, concept genera�on and innova�ve
approach to problem-solving.
Throughout my Coffee Maker Design project,
I explored my crea�vity in various ways. With
crea�ve thinking techniques, such as
brainstorming or mind mapping, I quickly
established proposals for further develop-
ment. In this project, I decided to use the
material I had not used before; I wanted to
challenge myself to do something new. I used
blown glass, knowing this would be out of my
comfort zone; however, I pursued this, as I
wanted to develop my skills further.
I am always fully engaged and commi�ed to
the work I do; thus I perform and deliver up to
the highest standard which is indicated by my
University results. In my work ethic, clarity
and full engagement play the most crucial
role. I believe that defined goals and
objec�ves play a significant role in the
successful delivery of the project.
While working with the customer, I sense the
inten�ons and in an accurate way define the
clients’ wants and needs. Experience gained
with freelance collabora�ons make me
confident to say that my sensi�vity posi�vely
affects both the rela�onship between the
customer and the outcome of the project.
During my placement year, I challenged myself
to bare the role of project coordinator. With
my communica�on and leadership skills, I was
able to guide a team of so�ware developers
and graphic designers professionally.
I have engaged and enabled the team to
cooperate across the professions efficiently.
I have developed my design and so�ware skills
by taking part in the interna�onal compe��on
for emerging designers run by RSA. The brief
has challenged my design communica�on,
research and prototyping skills.
