The document provides a budget sheet and production plan for a social action video on young addiction. It lists expenses such as camera rental, lighting, and transportation. Most of the budget will be spent on transportation as the creator needs to travel to Oxford frequently to film. An filming schedule is included which shows dates for filming interviews, B-roll footage, and completing learning outcomes. A locations list details places that will be visited for interviews such as a police station, town center, and addiction support center. Finally, questions are drafted that will be asked during interviews with police, volunteers, and those who have experienced addiction.
The document discusses key principles for media regulations regarding protecting under 18s from harmful content, truth and accuracy in programming, and issues around balance, objectivity, subjectivity, and interviews in factual programming. The main points are:
1) Under 18s must be protected from potentially harmful material through appropriate scheduling, with content unsuitable for children generally not airing before 9pm or after 5:30am.
2) Factual programming should strive for balance by representing opposing viewpoints proportionately and avoiding bias. Interviews may require advance planning to obtain perspectives that support arguments.
3) Viewers should be warned of potentially offensive content so they can make informed viewing choices for themselves and their children. Producers
