NETCOM (32 ClassHours)
Providesthe studentwiththe skillsandknowledge toperformbasicsystemsscanswithSimple Network
ManagementProtocol (SNMP),introducedin1988, is the mostwidelyusednetworkmanagementtool
that providesmanagementcapabilityforTCP/IP-basednetworks.Thenwe include Voice overIP(VOIP)
withCall Manager Express(CME) to give themupdatedunderstandingof communicationsoverthe
networktheyjustsetupandverifiedconnectivity.

ProvidesanintroductiontoRETINA andHERCULES, scanningnetworkvulnerabilitiesforthe studentto
betterunderstandhisrole innetworkmanagement.These scannerscanlookforsecurityvulnerabilities
withinthe systemconfigurationpolicyonour CPUs.Whenall thatis completedtheynow canmonitor
the networkforany newdevicesadded,ortomaintainmaximumcapacity.
Advance Troubleshootand Repair (32 ClassHours)
Is an applicationof practical exercisesinwhichthe studentwillassemble,troubleshoot,andrepairan
automatedinformationsystem(AIS),anddemonstrate his/herknowledgeonthe basicprocedures
requiredtotroubleshootandrepairbasicnetworksandcomputers.
Introduction to FBCB2 (40 Class Hours)
Providesanintroductiontothe Force XXIBattle CommandBrigade andBelow (FBCB2) battle command
control system.The studentisprovidedinstructiononthe functionaloperationof the FBCB2system
withinthe tactical network
Tactical InternetManagementSystem(40 Class Hours)
Provides the studentthe abilitytoconfigure andmonitorthe networkdevice andsystemsthatcomprise
the Tactical Internet(TI) Network. Systemsincludethe InternetController(INC),variousCisco
NetworkingDevices,EnhancedPositionLocatorReportingSystem(EPLRS),andPrecisionLightweight
Global PositioningSystemReceiver(PLGR).
Introduction to MCS (40 ClassHours)
Providesanintroductiontothe operationof the ManeuverControl System(MCS) Automated
InformationSystem(AIS),anditsrole andfunctions inthe supportcommandandcontrol systemsof a
maneuverunittactical operationscenter(TOC).
Digital Tactical Operation Center(40 ClassHours)
The DTOC annex providesthe studentwithanoperationaloverview of the Digital Tactical Operation
Center(DTOC) andthe associatednetworkconnectivitywithinthe ArmyBattle CommandSystem
(ABCS).
M3 (MatrixManagementModule)
The M3 annex isa culminationof practical applications,whichemphasizesthe critical tasktaughtduring
the trainingof all annexes.The studentsare requiredtodesignanetworkbasedonthe scenarios
presentedandequipmentprovided.The studentsmustcreate andconnectnetworkdevices,installand
configure MicrosoftWindowsOperatingSystems(Server,Exchange,andClient),install andconfigure
CiscoRoutersand Switches,andinstall,configure,andadministeraSolarisandUNIXOperatingSystem.
