The 2019 Point in Time Count in Jackson County, Oregon found: - A 2.7% reduction in total homelessness from 2018. - 37% of those experiencing homelessness were unsheltered, an 8% decrease from 2018. - Approximately two-thirds were sheltered in seasonal shelters, emergency shelters or transitional housing. - There was an 18.6% reduction in those meeting the criteria of "chronically homeless" compared to 2018.
