Preliminary tests of dynaCERT's HydraGENTM technology on refrigerated truck trailers showed fuel consumption reductions exceeding 20% at some temperature settings and as high as 28% at steady state. Emissions were also reduced similarly to previous tests. Testing on a second trailer will replicate these results. The positive findings suggest the technology could have vast applications in refrigerated trucks, delivery vehicles, buses, and trucks in international markets. dynaCERT is expanding production capacity for its new smaller HG2 unit, targeting a market for engines up to 10 liters, with results expected by late Q4 2017.
