Federal Finance Minister Bill
Morneau says his government sees
this as an important issue and that
he is working with his provincial
colleagues to bring greater
transparency to the corporate
registration system.
“We as a government, and I
personally, am committed to
making progress on ensuring
that we are not providing any
haven for any inappropriate
activities and that we’re
having companies and
individuals paying the share
of tax that should be due,” he
said in an interview.

2017 Mr. Cruise then accused the UN of wanting
to make people dependent on reducing fossil
fuel consumption, "but solutions can't be
found in pills."
The "cure" for higher temperatures can be

Mr. Cruis
16. BLOG – INCOME INEQUALITY
• Justin Trudeau keeps speaking in the house that his government has reduced
poverty rates in Canada. The reality there is no data that supports Trudeau claim
in terms poverty reduction. The whole statement comes from the Liberal 2015
election campaign - https://www.liberal.ca/realchange/fighting-poverty/.
• The reality is that since 2015 the low income has seen tax credits removed as
part of the government eliminating tax credits. Fraser Institute has said 61% of
the bottom 20% are paying more taxes since Trudeau took office -

• I am getting tired of the UN pushing their policies. How about going after China/India/other countries that have high poverty levels.
• Do we have issues? Yes! Does the new budget address those issues? No

problem is that you cannot tax people to prosperity
• The best solution to income inequality is creating the conditions that jobs grow in the goods producing sector or jobs that require advance
skills. https://www.slideshare.net/paulyoungcga/august-2017-canada-employment-market. If Trudeau and his team spent more time on
getting projects of the ground and/or expanding exports then you could see more decent jobs returning to Canada. Trudeau goals seems to
want to build a system that has people dependent on government - https://www.slideshare.net/paulyoungcga/what-is-agenda-2030
18. SUMMARY

• Too much government and private debt
• Real estate is over valued in many areas
• Too much speculation
• Housing affordability the worse in decades
• Passive income rules for investment need to be reviewed world wide
• Dividend tax credits
• Capital gains
