This document summarizes a presentation on content-based photo quality assessment. It discusses a research paper that proposes new methods for assessing photo quality, including detecting subject areas based on content, extracting new global and regional features, and building a large benchmark dataset. Experimental results show the proposed approach achieves higher accuracy in photo quality evaluation compared to previous methods. In particular, combining regional features provides the best performance. The document outlines the proposed methods and provides examples of high and low quality photos.
