Lake Brantley High School is implementing Positive Behavior Support (PBS) to create a safer learning environment for all students, staff, and family members. PBS focuses on preventing problem behaviors through explicitly teaching and acknowledging appropriate behaviors. The school uses a multi-tiered system to monitor student outcomes and support varying levels of student needs, with around 80% of students receiving universal supports, 15% receiving additional targeted supports, and 5% intensive individualized services. Lake Brantley families and community members are encouraged to engage with and support PBS through reinforcing expectations, providing feedback, and accessing resources.
