43. How does the donor get their tax receipt?
• CanadaHelps issues an electronic tax receipt
to the donor for every donation
• Donor can download, receive by email, store
in their CanadaHelps account

44. Does CanadaHelps use my charity’s
business number when they issue
receipts?
• CanadaHelps issues the tax receipts using our
own business number
• Your organization’s name is clearly stated
• We issue them for you but not on your behalf

45. Where do I get the Donate Now button?
• In your MyCharity account (once you sign up!)

46. Can we use CanadaHelps for ticket sales?
• No, all donations made through CanadaHelps
are receipted in full
• Only donations can be processed through
CanadaHelps

47. We have an online donation system
already – can we still sign up?
• Yes! CanadaHelps is non-exclusive.
• Receive donations from a different source
(many donors use CanadaHelps to make all of
