•	Eye tracking allows observing the eye movement	
	of the users. It reveals what draws user’s 	
	attention/inattention.
•	Eye tracking was used qualitatively, combined with 	 	
	think-aloud protocol, interviews and future workshop	
•	Visual eye tracking data - gaze video acted as a 	
	medium for the dialogue between users, researchers 		
	and librarians	
•	Eye tracking the first impression of the library 		 	 	 	
	 space
•	Eye tracking of how the materials were located in 	 	
	 the collection
•	Interview concerning the first impression and task 	
	 implementation
•	Reflecting the gaze videos in a dialogue in a future 		
	 workshop
•	Recognition of users as co-creators in real life library 	
	 context and a basis for continuous user centered
	 development of services
•	Developing eye tracking method as a medium in the 	
	 dialogue between users and designers
•	Users’ ideas for the future Laurea library services
•	Concrete improvements in the library space
