above mentioned information it is possible to test for the optimum pH. Alkaline phosphatase will
function optimally at a pH of around 10 (an alkaline pH). If one was to assess the range of the pH
pertaining to this enzyme, it can be seen that there will be a point where the enzyme has the greatest
activity, whereby it produces the highest concentration of the so called product . Due to the previous
knowledge of proteins, it can be deduced that at acidic pH the protein will have very low activity or
will denature. It should also be noted that once the optimal pH has been reached and surpassed, the
enzymes rate of activity will begin to reduce. As previously stated, temperature is another variable that
can affect the enzyme reaction rate. At low temperatures there will be little to no activity but as the
temperature is increased so the rate of activity will increase. However, just like pH, once the optimal
temperature is reached and surpassed, the enzyme will begin to break apart. The enzyme will be
experimentally tested using temperatures around room temperature (27℃). Due to the fact that there is
a human application the enzyme will continue to be tested until temperatures of human death (45℃).

They are also forbidden from pressuring clients into any questionable social relationships. The
American Counseling Association (2004) takes it a step further by forbidding any sexual relationships
with clients, family members or current sexual partners. Both ethical codes may differ in approach but
in theory they are both consistent with protecting the client and their vulnerabilities as they discuss
some of their most intimate details to their therapist.
From examining both ethical statutes, therapists can take it one step forward by taking ownership in
violating the bond between therapist and client. Years of education, training and personal
responsibility should prevent therapist from violating the bond between client and therapist. Clients
entrust therapist with intimate details and instill trust in the therapist. This relationship can sometimes
cross boundaries and cause the client to view the therapist in a different light. The same can be said of
therapists who have gained the admiration and trust of their client. This places them at an unfair
disadvantage and gives them the upper hand and a manipulative stance in entering any relationship
outside of the proper scope of the therapist client relationship.

One King, one Queen, otherwise known as Ferdinand and Isabella. Ferdinand and Isabella were
cousins. Later on in 1469 they became husband and wife. Isabella became the quartermaster and

they expanded and ruled the Spanish Empire. (spainthenandnow.com). Isabella was born on April 27,
1451. She was born in a city of Madrigal and raised Catholic. Her mother s name was also Isabella.
Her mother was the Princess of Portugal. King John II, of Castile, was her father. Isabella never really
knew her father as he died when she was only four years old. Isabella was well educated and from a
very young age was taught she could achieve great things. When King John II died, he left the
Kingdom of Castile to Isabella s step brother Henry. (Bucklin). Later when Isabella s brother died, she
had to fight to become ruler of Castile against her Niece Juana who tried to take over the throne.
Ferdinand would help her in the war to succeed her step brother and take over as ruler (Azcona).
Isabella s cousin, also known as her husband, Ferdinand, was born in 1451. His father was King John
II of Aragon and his mom was Juana Enríquez of Castile. They were both of Castilian origin. Unlike
Isabella, he had a father figure and would succeed his father as King of Aragon. From his father he
learned integrity, courage and reserve. Ferdinand was raised by his parents to become a king and a

Imagine living under brutal conditions in a rundown, secluded fort, far away from home and knowing
that you could die at any minute. What would you do? During the winter of 1777 to 1778, George
Washington s Continental Army set up their post at Valley Forge, a military camp 18 miles northwest
of Philadelphia. It was not big enough to be called a village it only had a few fieldstone houses and a
mill for forging iron. The Quaker farms in the area offered good food and support for Washington s
men, so they accepted. However, as the days went by, they realized that maybe that hadn t been such a
good idea. The soldiers in the Continental Army should have left Valley Forge because of death and
illness, living conditions in camp (lack of food and clothing), and resentment towards Congress.
Although Thomas Paine s words of encouragement in the American Crisis were inspirational, this didn
t change the fact that the soldiers were suffering due to the extreme conditions in the camp. To begin,
the soldiers should have left Valley Forge because there were many soldiers who began dying of death

A: Introduction and Problem Description Somalia is a war torn nation in East Africa that has been
systematically affected by political, economic, and social issues for decades. These issues have
profoundly impacted the way that the nation functions as a whole. One of the most significant
economic issues that plagues Somalia today is its lack of an effective central bank, and the general
scarcity of banks throughout the country. The Central Bank of Somalia does exist, but it is essentially
inoperative, as it has no substantial authority and has not officially printed a single bank note since the

The director uses colour and body language to suggest that Shrek is a kind ogre. For example the way

then roars savagely at them and they scream and finally freeze on the spot. Shrek then whispers at
them telling them that it is the part where they run away and they all run away. This part in the film
shows that Shrek has the potential to be a traditional ogre.
