This document summarizes the launch of new mobile apps to facilitate electronic toll collection (ETC) using FASTags in India. It discusses the current ETC system using RFID tags on vehicles. New mobile apps called "My FASTag" for consumers and "FASTag Partner" for merchants are being launched to allow online purchase and recharge of FASTags, replacing the need to visit bank branches. The goals are to increase ETC adoption by making it more convenient and accessible through mobile apps. Challenges like complicated purchase and recharge processes are being addressed through these revolutionary steps taken by NHAI.

11. REVOLUTIONARY STEPS TAKEN
BY NHAI
 NHAI in consultation with RBI and NPCI has launched the online purchase facility
of FASTag for Highway users.FASTag can be easily purchased online from NHAI,
IHMCL and IssuerBank’s websites and it will be delivered through courier at
doorstep within 2 days.
 To facilitate further two Mobile Apps are being launched today for easy purchase,
recharge and grievances redressal.

for Offline sale of FASTag by setting up Kiosk near Toll Plazas and Petrol
