Health Information Management (HIM)

Paperless Patient
Registration
To support downstream processes and safeguard
patient care and service, patient registration
must be quick, accurate and simple. With patient
presenting with multiple documents, efficiently
capturing specific information from insurance IDs
to clinical documentation, can be difficult and
prone to error.
OnBase enterprise content management (ECM)
helps hospitals eliminate paper and automate the
registration process, improving patient
satisfaction and safety while enabling faster and
better outcomes. The registration staff will be able

Deficiency
Management
The OnBase Deficiency Management enables
quicker deficiency identification, assignment,
routing and completion. Analysts can review

including missing signatures, information, and
documents. Physicians can receive automated
deficiency notifications within the EMR or

their mobile device.

Integration
The OnBase Integration to Computer-Assisted
Coding (CAC) makes all content in OnBase, such
as handwritten orders, history and physicals,
discharge summaries, procedure reports and
referred laboratory and testing results, available
in you CAC application. This translates to fewer
denials, speeds the revenue cycle, increases
regulatory compliance and eases the transition to
ICD-10.

Window
The OnBase Patient Window is a viewer clinicians
can use to quickly and easily access dispirit and
relevant patient information, quickly see what
new information is available, easily search for
patients, create cases and view patient

Heighten patient and physician satisfaction by
providing immediate access to all the data that's
not in the EMR. The information they have
trouble accessing or didn't know could access is
now available, in context, in their EMR. OnBase

Mobile eCapture
OnBase Mobile eCapture allows patients and
clinicians to complete and sign forms using a
mobile tablet, eliminating paper forms that need

Consent Capture
