Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan
“Pendidikan di Malaysia adalah satu usaha berterusan ke arah memperkembangkan lagi potensi
individu secara menyeluruh dan bersepadu untuk mewujudkan insan yang seimbang dan harmonis
dari segi intelek, rohani, emosi dan jasmani. Usaha ini adalah bagi melahirkan rakyat Malaysia

PENDAHULUAN
Dokumen Standard Prestasi bagi mata pelajaran Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR)
dibina sebagai panduan untuk guru menambahbaik Pentaksiran Sekolah sejajar dengan
pelaksanaan Pentaksiran Rujukan Standard.

Pentaksiran Rujukan Standard merupakan proses mendapatkan maklumat tentang sejauh mana
murid tahu dan boleh buat atau telah menguasai apa yang dipelajari mengikut tahap-tahap
pencapaian seperti yang dihasratkan oleh kurikulum mata pelajaran ini.

Adalah diharapkan dokumen ini dapat memberi maklumat yang lengkap dan tepat kepada guru
tentang hasrat Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan yang menekankan tentang pembinaan modal
insan yang berteraskan kepada pembangunan jasmani, emosi, rohani, intelek dan sosial.

TAFSIRAN
o

Band ialah satu label yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan tanda aras tertentu yang disusun secara hierarki digunakan bagi
tujuan pelaporan individu.

o

Standard ialah satu pernyataan tentang sesuatu domain merujuk kepada tanda aras tertentu dan bersifat generik bagi
memberi gambaran holistik tentang individu.

o

Standard Prestasi ialah pernyataan tentang tahap perkembangan pembelajaran murid yang diukur berdasarkan standard
dan menunjukkan di mana kedudukan murid dalam perkembangan atau kemajuan pembelajarannya. Perkembangan dalam
standard itu terbahagi kepada dua iaitu perkembangan secara mendatar (konstruk) dan perkembangan menegak (band).
Pertumbuhan murid dijelaskan dengan satu atau lebih qualifier menggunakan perkataan atau rangkai kata yang betul
menggambarkan standard dalam bentuk hasil pembelajaran.

Deskriptor ialah pernyataan yang menerangkan apa yang murid tahu dan boleh buat berdasarkan standard di mana kualiti
boleh ditaksir dan dicapai.

Pernyataan yang menerangkan tentang bagaimana murid melaksanakan apa yang dia tahu dan boleh
buat berdasarkan deskriptor.
Bahan atau apa-apa bentuk bukti yang dapat ditunjukkan oleh murid yang melaksanakan sesuatu
tugasan dalam bentuk produk atau proses seperti foto, grafik, artifak, laporan dan lain-lain.

Instrumen ialah alat yang digunakan untuk menguji penguasaan atau pencapaian murid bagi sesuatu domain seperti ujian
bertulis, ujian secara lisan, demonstrasi, ujian amali.

pada suatu situasi.

AIMS
The English Language Curriculum for Primary Schools aims to equip pupils with basic language skills to enable them to
communicate effectively in a variety of contexts that’s appropriate to the pupils’ level of development.

OBJECTIVES
By the end of Year 6, pupils should be able to:
i.

communicate with peers and adults confidently and appropriately in formal and informal situations;

ii.

read and comprehend a range of English texts for information and enjoyment;

iii.

write a range of texts using appropriate language, style and form through a variety of media;

iv.

appreciate and demonstrate understanding of English language literary or creative works for enjoyment; and

v.

use correct and appropriate rules of grammar in speech and writing.

DSP Bahasa Inggeris SJK Tahun 2 5 Januari 2012 Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan “Pendidikan di Malaysia adalah satu usaha berterusan ke arah memperkembangkan lagi potensi individu secara menyeluruh dan bersepadu untuk mewujudkan insan yang seimbang dan harmonis dari segi intelek, rohani, emosi dan jasmani. Usaha ini adalah bagi melahirkan rakyat Malaysia yang berilmu pengetahuan, berakhlak mulia, bertanggungjawab, berketrampilan dan berkeupayaan mencapai kesejahteraan diri serta memberi sumbangan terhadap keharmonian dan kemakmuran keluarga, masyarakat dan negara." 2

DSP Bahasa Inggeris SJK Tahun 2 5 Januari 2012 PENDAHULUAN Dokumen Standard Prestasi bagi mata pelajaran Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR) dibina sebagai panduan untuk guru menambahbaik Pentaksiran Sekolah sejajar dengan pelaksanaan Pentaksiran Rujukan Standard. Pentaksiran Rujukan Standard merupakan proses mendapatkan maklumat tentang sejauh mana murid tahu dan boleh buat atau telah menguasai apa yang dipelajari mengikut tahap-tahap pencapaian seperti yang dihasratkan oleh kurikulum mata pelajaran ini. Adalah diharapkan dokumen ini dapat memberi maklumat yang lengkap dan tepat kepada guru tentang hasrat Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan yang menekankan tentang pembinaan modal insan yang berteraskan kepada pembangunan jasmani, emosi, rohani, intelek dan sosial. 3

DSP Bahasa Inggeris SJK Tahun 2 5 Januari 2012 TAFSIRAN o Band ialah satu label yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan tanda aras tertentu yang disusun secara hierarki digunakan bagi tujuan pelaporan individu. o Standard ialah satu pernyataan tentang sesuatu domain merujuk kepada tanda aras tertentu dan bersifat generik bagi memberi gambaran holistik tentang individu. o Standard Prestasi ialah pernyataan tentang tahap perkembangan pembelajaran murid yang diukur berdasarkan standard dan menunjukkan di mana kedudukan murid dalam perkembangan atau kemajuan pembelajarannya. Perkembangan dalam standard itu terbahagi kepada dua iaitu perkembangan secara mendatar (konstruk) dan perkembangan menegak (band). Pertumbuhan murid dijelaskan dengan satu atau lebih qualifier menggunakan perkataan atau rangkai kata yang betul menggambarkan standard dalam bentuk hasil pembelajaran. o Deskriptor ialah pernyataan yang menerangkan apa yang murid tahu dan boleh buat berdasarkan standard di mana kualiti boleh ditaksir dan dicapai. o Evidens Murid Instrumen o : : Pernyataan yang menerangkan tentang bagaimana murid melaksanakan apa yang dia tahu dan boleh buat berdasarkan deskriptor. Bahan atau apa-apa bentuk bukti yang dapat ditunjukkan oleh murid yang melaksanakan sesuatu tugasan dalam bentuk produk atau proses seperti foto, grafik, artifak, laporan dan lain-lain. Instrumen ialah alat yang digunakan untuk menguji penguasaan atau pencapaian murid bagi sesuatu domain seperti ujian bertulis, ujian secara lisan, demonstrasi, ujian amali. 4

DSP Bahasa Inggeris SJK Tahun 2 5 Januari 2012 TAFSIRAN BAND BAND PERNYATAAN BAND TAFSIRAN 1 TAHU Murid tahu perkara asas, atau boleh melakukan kemahiran asas atau memberi respons terhadap perkara yang asas. 2 TAHU DAN FAHAM Murid menunjukkan kefahaman untuk menukar bentuk komunikasi atau menterjemah serta menjelaskan apa yang telah dipelajari. 3 TAHU, FAHAM DAN BOLEH BUAT Murid menggunakan pengetahuan untuk melaksanakan sesuatu kemahiran pada suatu situasi. 4 TAHU, FAHAM DAN BOLEH BUAT DENGAN BERADAB Murid melaksanakan sesuatu kemahiran dengan beradab, iaitu mengikut prosedur atau secara sistematik. 5 TAHU, FAHAM DAN BOLEH BUAT DENGAN BERADAB TERPUJI Murid melaksanakan sesuatu kemahiran pada situasi baru, dengan mengikut prosedur atau secara sistematik, serta tekal dan bersikap positif. TAHU, FAHAM DAN BOLEH BUAT DENGAN BERADAB MITHALI Murid mampu menzahirkan idea yang kreatif dan inovatif, mempunyai keupayaan membuat keputusan untuk mengadaptasi permintaan serta cabaran dalam kehidupan seharian serta boleh berbicara untuk mendapatkan dan menyampaikan maklumat menggunakan ayat yang sesuai secara bertatasusila dan menjadi contoh secara tekal. 6 6

DSP Bahasa Inggeris SJK Tahun 2 5 Januari 2012 AIMS The English Language Curriculum for Primary Schools aims to equip pupils with basic language skills to enable them to communicate effectively in a variety of contexts that’s appropriate to the pupils’ level of development. OBJECTIVES By the end of Year 6, pupils should be able to: i. communicate with peers and adults confidently and appropriately in formal and informal situations; ii. read and comprehend a range of English texts for information and enjoyment; iii. write a range of texts using appropriate language, style and form through a variety of media; iv. appreciate and demonstrate understanding of English language literary or creative works for enjoyment; and v. use correct and appropriate rules of grammar in speech and writing. 7
