Passive Voice
Uses When trying to conceal the identity of the agent (or subject); when the identity of the agent is unknown; when there is no specific agent.   The recipient of the action becomes the subject of the sentence.   Follow this pattern:  [recipient] + ser + [past participle] + por + [agent]. Examples: Los chicosfueroncomidospor el dragón.   La tiendafuerobadapor Javier, otravez.
Tenses Singular Ellaes/ha sido/fuellevada al hospital.   El abogadoes/ha sido/fuellevado a su casa. Plural Ellas     son/hansido/fueronllevadas al hosptial. Los abogados    son/hansido/ fueronllevadosa su casa.
