Uses of Reflexive Verbs <ul><li>In Spanish, reflexive verbs are conjugated with reflexive pronouns. </li></ul><ul><li>The reflexive pronouns represents the same person as the subject. </li></ul><ul><li>The reflexive verbs are used to indicate that the subject is performing the action on or for him or herself. </li></ul>

Location of Reflexive Verbs… <ul><li>With the exception of the affirmative commands, reflexive pronouns precede the conjugated verb. </li></ul><ul><li>Por ejemplo… </li></ul><ul><li>Ellos se acuestan a las diez. </li></ul><ul><li>Reflexive pronouns follow and are attached to affirmative commands. </li></ul><ul><li>Por ejemplo… </li></ul><ul><li>¡Levánta te ! </li></ul><ul><li>“ Conjugated verb + infinitive”, the reflexive pronoun may be placed either before the conjugated verb or after the infinitive, in which case is attached to it… </li></ul><ul><li>Por ejemplo… </li></ul><ul><li>Me quiero acostar o Quiero acostar me . </li></ul>
