This introduces the transpiration from plants phenomenon. It starts from Dalton treatment of the topic and introduces (a little) the Jarvis scheme for estimating stomatal resistances.
This reminds that evapotranspiration is highly variable but depends upon some indicators that can be estimated from remote and, therefore suggest a method get it spatially.
This is the lecture with which I usually conclude my class in hydrology. It talks about the impact of climate change on hydrology. Wit some specific on the Alpine areas.

This illustrate Niccolo Tubini's integrator of Richards equation in 1D using the nested Newton method by Casulli and Zanolli. The integrator contains van Genucthen, Brooks and Corey and Kosugi schemes for soil water retention curves.
Verification of a aqueduct network. This presentation contains the simplification of the general equations used to verify the correct working of an aqueduct
This is part of the class of hydraulic Constructions at University of Trento. We use QGIS and GISWATER to prepare the inputs for SWMM and see how much the discharges are.
15.1 reti di distribuzione idrica - equazioniRiccardo Rigon
Here we present the equations that are used to verify aqueducts networks. It is the formal part where the equation are written properly trough the adjacency matrix, and proper vectorial notation.
A variation on the linear reservoir method to design culverts. It use the so called "metodo italiano". It is actually known to have problems. However, for historical reasons, I explain it to students.

to evaporation along the total perimeter of a circular pore,
we have to take into account that only a certain portion of
the pore is contributing to the diffusive vapor flux at periph-
ery. For simplicity, we assume that a pore has three neigh-
bors defined by internal spacing si and one neighbor defined
Figure A1. The components and adaptations of Schl€under’s [1988a, 1988b] model to compute the
evaporation rate from partially dry surfaces. (a) Diffusion from a water-filled pore of radius r (here
shown as dark blue hemisphere) with a three-dimensional vapor flux FP across a hemisphere with radius
imposed by neighbors with dry spacing s. The same vapor flows as one-dimensional flux FA across a
boundary layer of thickness d (in z direction). The two fluxes are driven by vapor pressure difference
between pore (ps) and boundary of pore interaction (pi) and atmosphere (pa). (b) A plane view (x/y plane)
of a cluster of pores (blue) where evaporation from the periphery of a cluster of radius RC is attributed to
area AL (in yellow) assigned to a pore (gray pore). The length of arc b along the boundaries between clus-
ters can be determined by considering that ratios b/(RC 1 SC) and (2r12si)/RC are equal (with cluster
spacing SC and dry spacing si within a cluster).

resistenza all’evaporazione
