Drives business success
We have a great weight on our shoulders
Lesson 1
More contact= more sales
So think – how can I get the most contact
Linkedin – use updates
Coach marketing – they can make contact – eg
newsletters
Email – you can do 7 times more than calls
Phone is many time faster than in person
Be in the right place at the right time
Lesson 2
I sell more when I listen
I cannot learn when I talk
Some of the biggest wins come from the customer telling
us what their pain points are
Lesson 3
You need to sell internally too
Fight for what you need
Move the organization to best service your customer
Lesson 4
Once you have rapport, it takes less time
To build rapport – 3-4 in person meetings – then
phone/email can work
Lesson 5
Feel – Felt - Found
Lesson 6
1 person decides to buy but 20 can veto the order
Build support from the whole organization
Lesson 7
It is never price – even if they say it is
You cannot buy a Danby for less elsewhere
Why would we be selling $300M if our prices were too
high – there are just not that many stupid customers
Lesson 8

It stops the dance
Lesson 9
More customers always beats less
We need more people to buy
Lesson 10
Products sell when they are on display
Fight to get them on the floor
More locations means more sales
Lesson 11
Small customers become big ones
People change jobs and take their “friends” with them
Lesson 12
Know your competition
Know your products
Knowledge wins
Lesson 13
Selling to a client solves their problem
They need our product
We are doing them a favor by selling to them
Lesson 14
Mostly it is about the simple things
