Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

The world of search engine optimization (SEO) is buzzing with discussions after Google confirmed that around 2,500 leaked internal documents related to its Search feature are indeed authentic. The revelation has sparked significant concerns within the SEO community. The leaked documents were initially reported by SEO experts Rand Fishkin and Mike King, igniting widespread analysis and discourse. Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
2. Send emails
when you
comment
01
Google Sheets is great for
collaborating with others –
everything is updated in real
time, but what if you need to
alert someone to something in
the sheet? You basically send
them an email to let them know
when you’re adding a comment
to Google Sheets. Just add a plus
sign (+) and then type their
email address (or name) and
then when you add your
comment they’ll receive an email
with your message
automatically.
3. Integrate with
Google Forms
When you create a free google form, I
have the option to select where the
responses from that form are stored.
Google sheets are the easiest way to
store your form responses and the
quickest way to. The link between
google sheets and google forms is
automatically created for you. To send
data into a Google Sheets, select
‘Responses’ inside the form and then
click on the Google Sheets icon to send
existing (and future) responses into a
sheet.
02
4. 03
Insert a chart
from Google
Sheets into
any Google
Doc file
Once you’ve created a chart inside
Google Sheets you can insert it into a
Google Doc. Inside the document, select
‘Insert’, then ‘Chart’, and then ‘From
Sheets’.
5. ImportHTML for importing HTML
tables and lists
ImportFeed for importing RSS entries
ImportData for importing a web-based
CSV file
ImportXML for importing a custom
section of a webpage that you can
identify with Xpath
You can use different functions to import
data into your google sheet from websites
and RSS feeds, including:
Import
data from
almost any
website or
RSS feed
04
6. 05 Embed
Charts on
your Website
Once you have created charts in your google sheets, you can import
them into any google doc, but did you know you can also easily publish
these charts to your website?
To do this, click on your chart, and click on “More” at the top right-hand
corner. Then click on “Publish chart”, and click on “Embed”. Go ahead
and paste the HTML code that’s generated for you onto your website,
and you’re all set. Obviously be sure to get permission from the website
owner before you publish any links and or HTML code to any website.
7. Add Images
Inside
Sheets
Who says that Google spreadsheets
have to be just rows and columns of
data? You can add images to a
spreadsheet for a bit of creativity or
style.
To use this feature, try out the
=IMAGE function. Just drop in the
URL of the image that you want to use
in your sheet and close it out to add it
right inside of the spreadsheet.
06
07
8. Connect
Google
Sheets
together with
each other
One of the most powerful things that
spreadsheet users will do is connect
different spreadsheets with each
other. This means that you can
basically have an ecosystem of sheets
doing different things with one sheet
to rule them all.
The function that you'll want to try out
is called IMPORTRANGE. With the
IMPORTRANGE function, you can
actually connect to an entirely
different Google Sheet and pull data
over.
07
07
9. Translate text
If your sheet contains cells that use a different
language, then you can use the
GOOGLETRANSLATE function to automatically
translate the values in another language. This is
awesome for content creators who want to publish
content in other languages.
02
08
10. Barcodes and QR codes used to be really
hard to deal with. You used to need a paid
platform to manage them before. No
longer. Now you can quickly create QR
codes in Google Sheets and manage huge
lists of them for perhaps logistics (product
shipping) purposes.
Create QR
codes
09
11. 10 Use AI to
Create Charts
and Reports
Sometimes, Google Sheets is smarter than this user. That's thanks to
Google's increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically
create reports and charts. Instead of creating those from scratch, you can
simply type plain-English instructions for generating charts and
reports. To use this in your own Google spreadsheets, click on the
Explore button in the lower right corner in Sheets. Then, just look at the
built-in options or try typing out a chart you've got in mind to generate it
easily. 06
12. Use Macros
to Take on
Repetitive
Tasks
A macro captures repeated tasks and
makes it easy to repeat them. If you do
the same steps over and over, you've
got to try this feature out. To get
started, go up to the Tools menu and
choose Macros > Record Macro. Then,
go through the steps that you'll want to
repeat later and save it.
11
13. Sync Data
between Apps
By connecting your Google Sheets to
other apps, you can quickly and easily
sync your data back and forth.
03
12
14. 13
Google Sheets with add-
ons
There are lots and lots of add-ons you can use
with Google Sheets. They can make it easier to get
things done quickly. My personal favorites are
the Google Analytics add-on for pulling data into
sheets and Supermetrics for pulling in data from
platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
15. By using the ‘Explore’ button on the
bottom right-hand corner of your
spreadsheet, you can also quickly get
answers to questions like “Which sales
rep sold the most aggregate units?” in
a matter of seconds. The Sheet uses AI
to quickly calculate a sum of each rep’s
sold units and feed through an answer.
This feature will only get more and
more powerful as Al gets better and
better over time.
