The document summarizes the SEA Castor Seed Yield Improvement Project carried out in 2018. The objectives of the project were to make castor seed farming more sustainable, educate farmers on modern practices to increase yields up to 4,000 kg/ha, and sustain farmer interest. The project selected 140 farmers across 5 districts, provided free agricultural inputs and guidance. Most farms achieved yields over 4,000 kg/ha and intercropping plots achieved up to 6,500 kg/ha. The project aims to expand to more districts based on initial success in improving yields and incomes for farmers.
