The authors said there were signs of human activities in the caves and that there are more

gave a good enough background information so that the reader can understand it. They also define
some of the vocabulary that was used so that the reader completely understand what they were

cave. At first glance the information is very confusing, but after a while I can see what the authors

Shady Hollow Tasks
My tasks varied each day at Shady Hollow. I loved this because it meant there was always
something new to learn and I did not get bored. However, for a large part of my internship I
worked at the front desk of the country club. Our front desk was manned from 9:00 5:00

was how nice the employees were to one another. Then I would clean my desk. The front desk
becomes kind of a dumping grounds for many different sort of things, whether it be lost and
found items, packages, or mail. Once I deal with anything that may have been left on my desk, I
move on to checking the phone for messages and the computer for emails. Often these are

In the early years of French rule, French administrators planned to change Vietnam socially,

Court officials ( called manderines ) were forced to report to colonial officials instead of the
king, diminishing much of the kings power and role in society. High costs of colonial
administrators caused the French to put high taxes on salt, opium, alcohol and land. Forced labour
was also re introduced. French rule had left the Vietnamese people and their culture impoverished
and very much opressed. By 1940 half of Vietnamese s population was landless. This is was one of
the many crippling effects of French colonial rule in Vietnam.

I Attended University Dance Theatre
I attended University Dance Theatre over the weekend, and after just recently becoming interested
in dance and appreciating dance as an art form I was excited to watch a live dance performance.
There were a total of nine dances, each of which, were choreographed by different people. Not
surprisingly, every dancewas extremely different, and left the audience feeling different emotions.
It was hard picking two dances that I enjoyed the most because they were all fantastic. I picked two
that were simple, in the sense that anyone could determine the reason behind the dance. The first is
powerful, and the second is humorous. It was interesting breaking down the dances, determining the
choreographic and theatrical elements, and concluding the meaning of the dance if any. My
expectations were high going in, and I was not disappointed. Beginning with the powerful dance in
the first half Still?. Still? was preformed by two African American women. I found this dance
interesting because the music was spoken text by Martin Luther King, Jr. in the beginning and
towards the end was poetry that was spoken with strong emotion. The stage lighting was turned
down, almost completely dark, and the two women had dark clothing, which, indicated sorrow,
frustration, and anger almost. The dancers only used a small portion of the stage with no props
and a completely bare stage the focus was directed to the two dancers.

of blood flowing to the bones in order to replenish and retain their healthy function. When
insufficient blood flow is produced for our bones they begin to become weaker and lose their
vitality and ultimately collapse. It can occur in any bone of the body including the jaw. This
condition is known as osteonecrosis of the jaw. This is a newly recognized condition that continues
to be researched to in order to provide patients with optimal care. In order to understand the
complexity of this disorder you must comprehend how the condition is diagnosed, the risk factors,
and how it can be treated.
Osteonecrosis, osteo meaning bone and necrosis meaning death, is bone losing vitality and
function. This condition occurs when bone is no longer supplied with blood. Osteonecrosis of the
jaw, ONJ, exposes the jaw bone because it is no longer attached to the gingiva and has remained
in this state for over eight weeks. In the initial stages of ONJ, there are no noticeable symptoms or

Honestly this was a cover buy, the synopsis sounded well, but who can say no to a cover with a

average young adult fantasy book, power is entrusted on the main character who comes from
nothing but dirt. The power brings him or her to the ranks of highly honored people. War happens
because everyone is hungry for power, the emperor dies and his handsome son has to save his
kingdom and usually chooses it over the main character, and drama happens with the occasional
