2.  Review/Study of Design Drawings and Shop Drawings
 Review/Study the Electrical standards of the project from the client i.e. NEC, IEC etc
 Study the quality and safety standards of work
 Study the catalogs of the materials
 Calculate BOM/BOQ and take off of material
 Provide the detailed list of specifications to the suppliers/vendors for procuring the cost
of the supplies.
 Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment's according to the SEC,
IEC and ANSI/IEEE standards.
 Starting with Selection and Visit the Site to investigate the Nature of the Works, then the
Estimation for the materials & works.
 Technical Submittal for the Materials with Manufactures and suppliers to approve the
materials with the Clint.
