This document summarizes an experimental analysis of a flywheel used in a mechanics lab at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. The objectives were to observe how energy is stored in a flywheel and to determine potential and kinetic energy through experimentation. Data was collected on the potential and kinetic energy of the flywheel at various loads. The results showed that the potential energy decreased as load increased, in line with theoretical expectations. Kinetic energy also decreased with increasing load, verifying the law of conservation of energy. The flywheel's ability to store rotational energy has various applications.
