1) The document proposes a Kerala Metro Project that would run double-decker AC metro trains every 5 minutes between major cities in Kerala.
2) This project is possible if long-distance trains leaving and entering Kerala can be scheduled outside of metro operating hours of 6am-7pm and old passenger trains are retired.
3) Infrastructure upgrades like doubling tracks, electrification, increasing platform heights, and adjusting track widths can also be completed to support the metro trains.
Before Metro Bus, CDA completed Feasibility Study on Bus Rapid Transit Project, Islamabad, Pakistan. The indicative capital costs for the BRT system are estimated at US$ 79 million, and annual operating costs at US$ 3.8 million. The report will provide awareness as how much Tax payer money we are wasting in the Metro Bus Project.
Railway engineering is a multi-faceted engineering discipline dealing with the design, construction and operation of all types of railway systems. It encompasses a wide range of engineering discipline as Civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer engineering. A great many other engineering sub-disciplines are also called upon to combine and create railroad engineering. The civil engineers plan the railway track, design the alignment and right of way and finally they operate.

A Review on High Speed Rail Project between Ahmedabad and MumbaiIJSRD
Indian Railway Network is one of the largest rail networks of the world which connects all major and minor cities and it is one of the fastest and convenient options for travelling for the ordinary people. However, sad thing is that most of the fastest trains run on average speed of just 50 km/hr. Therefore, to save time and for the convenience of the people some better and suitable option should be introduced. Bullet trains are high speed trains offer economic and high speed travel which is a good option for the routine and solitary travelling people.
The presentation contains all the information related to bullet train you need for the Economic presentation. Please let us know if need any changes. Do share and comment.
Indian railway network is one of the biggest transportation network in India and is the third largest railway network in the world. Mail/express trains are regular express rail service of India. Express trains make small number of stops, unlike passenger trains. The Duronto express trains introduced in 2009 (which run between major cities without any intermediate halts) are projected to be the fastest train in India introduced with a higher speed limit of 120-130 km/h. Bullet trains in India will become an engine of economic transformation in India

Media as a Mind Controlling Strategy In Old and Modern Era
#1 JOSE THOMAS MEKKAT
1. A NEW KERALA FROM THE MISSION OF
JOSE THOMAS MEKKAT
KERALA METRO PROJECT
2. This project will be a turning point to the state of kerala
because it will develop kerala to the maximum possible
situation ,even with the limited resources of our state. Now
according to us kerala is almost 25 years back as far as
comparing the development of other states in India. We are
not comparing kerala with any of the developing countries
but only with the different states of India, even when
kerala is leading in literacy.
Almost all the train compartments in the state of kerala is
more than 20 years old . There are more than 70 passenger
trains and several other intercity trains which are very old.
3. This project intends to run double decker AC metro trains
with a gap of 5 minutes from Nagercovil to mangalore via
kottayam and alleppy and from nagercovil to coimbatore
also . But how this dream is possible , can only be
explained effectively by debates and discussions.
This project is possible if we are able to make the railway
tracks empty from morning 6 am to evening7 pm, which
can be possible if the below mentioned things are
practical
4. 1. There should not be many trains passing through the state of
kerala to other states
This is practical in kerala because we have very few trains passing
through kerala to other states. For example, a train to New delhi
from kerala will be crossing nearly 10 states to reach New delhi.
This clearly shows that our tracks are empty most of the time
when compared to other states.
2. All the old 75 year old passenger and intercity trains should be
cancelled from 6am to 7 pm
This is possible because we are going to use Ac double decker metro
trains within a gap of 5 minutes from 6am to 7 pm, so the old
trains can be used in the night for new night routes if needed or
returned back to the railways.
5. 3. All the lines in kerala should be double track
This is also practical because ,almost all the lines in kerala are
running on double track. Only the lines between thiruvalla and
vaikom road has to be doubled , which wil also be completed
within a span of two years.
4. All the lines in kerala should be electrified
This is also possible because all the electrification works for our
railways will be over within a span of two years and for us the
other works for starting this project will also take two years time.
So this delay of two years for doubling and electrification is not a
delay as far as this project is concerned.
6. 5. Height of the platforms should be increased.
This is also possible because half of the platforms in the state have already
ncreased the height according to the metro standard height and the
balance height of the platforms can also be increased within a span of
two years, if our project is declared open.
6. Width of the tracks
This is also possible because double decker metro trains can be made
according to the existing width of the track, which is almost the same of
the width of the metro trains, starting in cochin.
7. 7. All long running trains should leave tvm from 7 pm
This is also possible because the timings of most of the long running trains starting from tvm in the day
time, are fixed almost 15 to 20 years back . But after that, the quality of the tracks , breaking system,
traffic system and the speed is also increased , but the timings are not changed. A good example is
that our jayanthi janatha express is haulted for more than 6 hours in various stations , before
reaching mumbai because of before time.So the timings can be changed easily.
More than 50% of the long running trains already start after 7 pm even now.
Moreover it is good for the long running passengers to leave after 7 o clock because they can use the day
time effectively for other works and enter the train after taking dinner and have a good sleep. And not
only that traveling throughout the day is very hot and tiring for the passenger.
These long running trains are not good for the domestic travellers inside kerala because the general
compartment will be over crowded always specially now by the bengalies and north indian workers.
Not only that, the charges are very heavy in the reservation compartments for domestic travelers and
the new reservation system does not permit them to enter into all the reservation compartments and
more over the AC compartment is also costly now. So if u travel 500 kms or 10 kms, it is the same
charge. So the rich is depending on their own conveyance which also increases traffic in the state,
because normally one big car will be used by a single person which makes our road congestic.
8. 8. All incoming trains should enter trivandrum central before 6 am
This is almost possible because normally many trains are reaching tvm
before 6am and slight alterations can also make this practical. Now there
are lot of trains till ernakulam only, so the timing will not be much problem
to change according to this project.
So what we say is that, the long running trains are not having a favorable
atmosphere for domestic traveling, so its always better to make the long
running trains to start in the night which will also make our kerala metro
project practical.
9. 9 . Permission from the central govt to start this project
It purely depends on the mentality of the government in power. They are not
used to think in this way normally , so our effective debates will surely
force them to implement these things, or at least submit this project to
the central government.
10. 10. Only double decker trains can be used for this project.
This is also possible because it is available in switzerland with an
affordable price. Normally we need double decker metro trains for this
project because there will be a rush of local as well as long passengers.
So if it is a double decker train, the long distance travelers can travel on
top and the small distance travellers can use the down space for
traveling. Special facility for long passengers are needed on top
because this metro is not just traveling 24 kms like our cochin metro
but this kerala metro train runs nearly 700 kms in one strech , that is
from nagercovil to mangalore and from nagercovil to coimbatore
