Employment
Currently I am operating tele handlers on various building sites to assist bricklayers, move, load and unload
stock. and to assist on site where necessary.
August 2014 – June 2015
Scaffolding Labourer, Health and Safety along with team work is essential to ensure that each job runs
efficiently and safely. I am always one step ahead and make sure that I aware of each job and load the van
with the required equipment; scaffolding is erected and dismantled safely and quickly.
This role requires planning, hard work, manual dexterity, planning and an awareness of Health and Safety.
February 2012 – November 2013
I have been working as a Plant Operator/Landscape Gardener sub-contracting and Plant Operator and
Labouring.
This role required meeting customers, reading plans and listening to their individual requirements,
expectations and working with them to provide a professional finished product. In addition to planning, hard
work, manual dexterity, planning and an awareness of Health and Safety.
February 2008 – February 2012 Parachute Regiment British Army
I have had a successful career in the British Parachute Regiment. Serving overseas; I was responsible
for training, leading and commanding several operations whilst training Foreign Special Forces.
This role required me to use key and effective communication skills to remain calm and control large groups
of people in difficult situations. I also attended Shura Meetings with local community leaders during which I
able to gain their trust and co-operation.
My role required leadership/management, physical fitness, physical teamwork, motivation, attention to detail
and the ability to use my own initiative
3. July 2006 – February 2008 Bricklayer
Self-employed bricklayer; working for a contractor. This job was physically demanding and required working
to specifications, tight timelines and often complex requirements.
Key role requirements in addition to skill; were time management and effective communication.
Telehandler and dumper truck driving experience was gained with this employment.
