2013 – Present. Ripley Engineering (uk) Ltd Paint Line Manager/Dispatch Manager.
Duties,
• Daily Plant inspection/Checks-Monitor and record.
• Stock control of powder, paint, chemical, sundries.
• Schedule Management.
• Responsible for the general running of the plant, including maintenance.
• Solve problems that arise to ensure the smooth running of the plant, eg workload, personnel
and machinery.
• From releasing the Works Order, I plan and prioritize the workload as efficiently as possible in
order to meet deadlines.
• Responsible for creating the department’s shift structure each week, consisting of three
different shift patterns, including night shifts.
• Ensuring finished products meet required quality standards.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets containing completed works.
• Liaising with Planning Department when there is a query regarding stock or bills of material.
• Ensuring staff are wearing personal protective clothing and equipment.
• Training of other staff to ensure continual improvement of the plant from an efficiency and
quality perspective.
• Sort our transport/Delivery on a daily basis.
• Supervise. Manufacturing staff in the metalwork department which included, Folders,
Inserter, welders, spot welders.
• Help Operations Direct to get the throughput around the works shop floor
• Purchase products for the smooth running of the paint line.
• Overseeing the H&S of 24 members of staff on a day to day basis.
• Training of other staff to ensure continual improvement of the plant from an efficiency and
quality perspective.
2007 - 2013 Urbis Lighting Limited, Basingstoke Foreman – Power Coating Plant/
Wet/Spraying

• 6 years as a front panel spraying.
