как бы умножает преступление (гл. 5)
Закон не может ни простить греха, ни
помочь его победить. Грешник,
стремящий, путём закона получить
спасение, найдёт лишь осуждение и
станет ещё больше рабом греха.”

Быть “под благодатью” означает
использовать благодать как способ спасения.
“Он [христианин] признаёт, что он
преступник Божественного закона, что
своими силами он не способен исполнить
его требования, что он по справедливости
заслуживает осуждения и через веру во
Христа передаёт себя действию милости и
благодати Божьей (см. на 24 ст.). Его
греховное прошлое ему прощается, и он
получает Божественную силу ходить в
обновлённой жизни.”

соблюдать? (Римлянам 6:15)

“Считать, что, будучи под благодатью, верующий может безнаказанно
нарушать нравственный закон Божий, значит не иметь никакого
представления о намерениях Божиих, выраженных в Его плане
спасения. Нарушение человеком закона Божьего – вот та первая и
главная причина, которая побудила Бога из любви к грешнику
проявить к нему милость. Посредством благодати Божьей, человек
освобождается от власти греха. Как же может в таком случае кто-либо
считать справедливым и разумным, снова подвергать себя игу
рабства? Проявление непослушания божественному закону - есть грех
(1Ин. 3:4). И всякий, продолжающий грешить, есть раб греха (Ин. 8:34)
Продолжая жить во грехе, получив прощение Божие и Его благодать,
значит отвергать цель благодати, то, для чего она была послана. Кто не
позволяет благодати Божьей вести его к более совершенному
послушанию Божественному закону, тот отвергает благодать и
поворачивается спиной к своей свободе и спасению.” (Библейский
