This document discusses Native American culture in the 18th and 19th centuries. It explains how Native American tribes practiced unique cultures with different religions, languages, foods, and styles of dress. However, the Indian Wars of this period caused tribes to relocate and lose their homelands and cultural identities. Native Americans were prohibited from practicing their religions and ceremonies. This led to fewer youth learning the languages and traditions of their tribes. However, Native American culture has seen a revival with more recent generations embracing their cultural heritage. Hispanic American culture is also discussed and faced similar challenges to cultural practices in past centuries.
