The lesson included a video session that highlighted part of what is expected to be learnt in the course. The course objectives were issued to every student by the lecturer. 3 hours 50 minutes Tuesday 1-16-2018 I met my classmates to discuss how we would conduct research on the topic. The duration of the research and the parameters in which they would be conducted were the main topic of discussion. 3.5 hour Saturday 1-20-2018 My classmates and I went to the library to look for ideas based on different books regarding the topic of our research. Research in relation to other disciplines were also considered. 6 hours Thursday 1-25-2018 After discussing thoroughly, my friends and I met to discuss how we would distribute the assignments that would constitute the entire project. The expected difficulties and challenges involved were also discussed hence we thought of ways that we would use to handle them. 3 hours Monday 1-29-2018 Personally, I embarked on deeper studies on how I would approach the topic of safety in engineering. Since I was assigned the task of researching on OSHA, it was mandatory that I conducted more research. We conducted our first workshop. It was constructive and I

assignment. Since I included a lot of unnecessary work, I had to

I restarted my assignment by first rewriting the entire
outline. I contacted one of my classmates, to help me remember
the fundamental points of the discussion that we had at the

I watched more documentaries that emphasized on the cases
of failed safety in engineering. The documentaries enhanced my
understanding of the subject.

We held another workshop and it was successful. Most of us

ideas according to the instructions in our assignments. It was
the toughest workshop so far but we managed to edit and finish
the final parts of our assignments.

specialized on accidents happened due to the lack of
information about safety; however, there were not as many
information as I expected so I would not add that to our
research report. Also, I followed the instructions of how to

We held the final workshop. In the meeting, we concluded
on the final format for the report and included the final set of
references in the final document. The report was better
organized and a PowerPoint presentation was prepared to
accompany it. Both documents had a reference page. The
project was finally ready to be presented.
