Step-by-Step
1.       Assign the following team roles:
     •     Team leader: This person will make sure that the
           team is completing all tasks and will prepare the
           information for presentation.
     •     Tech person: This team member will collect and
           share information using a resource such as Google
           docs. The tech person will also assist in the
           technical aspects of preparing the presentation.
     •     Question manager: This person will collect questions
           that the team needs answered and visit the
           commons/resource center to get those answers.
1.   As a team discuss the driving question,
     project requirements, and audience.
2.   Record these on the project plan.
3.   This discussion will ensure that everyone
     in the group understands the project and
     that the information is in a central
     location.
1.   As a group, create a list of knows and
     need to knows based on the driving
     question and project requirements.
2.   Assign group members to research the
     need to know information.
3.   Establish a method for collecting and
     sharing research.
1.   Based on the need to knows, complete
     individual research.
2.   Share research findings with the group in
     the project plan.
3.   Include the resource for future reference.
4.   Meet again as a group to discuss
     research.
1.   As a group make a list of all the things
     you will need to do in order to complete
     the project now that the research phase is
     complete.
2.   Assign jobs based on the task list.
3.   Establish due dates for each task.
4.   Make the task list accessible to all group
     members by recording this information in
     the project plan.
1.   Individual group members complete task
     list and share work with group.
2.   Meet as a group to collaborate on final
     product.
1.   Schedule a meeting with another group to
     get feedback on the group’s final product.
2.   Make revisions based on feedback.
3.   Prepare final project and presentation.
