1. YOUTH WITHOUT WORK
The unemployment percentages of Germany and Spain are really different : 10.8% and
39.2%.In Germany the problems are the differences between the East and the West because
in the West of Germany there is a bigger industry than in the East of Germany. In Spain the
region’s differences are also a key fact but the lack of connection between the high schools
and work-places is a big problem. The percentage of young people without work in 2012 is the
half than it was in 2005 in Germany but in Spain it hasn’t reduced. The Spanish government is
taking the same measures that Germany took to resolve these problems. Some examples of
Germany’s measures are the Dual System, that consists of people who are studying and
working at the same time so they get money for their work while they are learning, and mini
jobs , that are works with more or less 15 hours per week and they get a lower salary than the
average .Social help for the unemployed should also be improved.
