 In 1975 there was no unemployment
because women did not work, and
jobs were just for men (Franquist
society)
 In 1975:
- Change of mentality with the
democracy
- Baby boom (people have more
babies)
- So… this situation created more
unemployment

 In 90´ unemployment was reduced (8 – 9 % in the
best moments) due to different political and social
reforms
 Moment of “economic euphoria” and believe in
economic sucess
 However, in 2007 the unemployment raised again,
creating an important economic crisis
