Now to professional teams, I have been a huge fan of the Denver Broncos since I could talk. I love Sports Authority Field and the entire city of
Denver. It brought me joy when Peyton Manning joined them even though we all know the defense won them Super Bowl 50. When it comes to
NBA and MLB, I do not have necessary favorite teams, but I have favorite players. In the NBA, I respect Lebron's game and the athletic ability he

In the last year, I have moved from New Jersey to New York to Iowa. Moving away from your family is hard, but can be done by having a strong

In my lifetime, there have been many breathtaking and wonderful experience's I have had the pleasure in being a part of, only one experience comes

the CSN Chicago deal with the help of my interview with Scott Byers. In order to watch the channel CSN Chicago, you need to either live in the
area that your local cable company offers it, or have Dish Network or DirecTV. Like I said earlier, about 90% of the area that does offer the channel is
in the eastern part of Iowa. So if you live on the western side, and don't have either Dish Network or DirecTV, you are basically out of luck. The
local cable companies could get CSN Chicago into their package but with Northwest Iowa so far away from Chicago, almost none in this area do.

Civilizations are culturally created environments in which we follow rules, standards, and ethical behaviors. Iowa City offers multiple signs of
civilization, including public vs. private land, religious vs. secular, and the presence of central control. Through these five characteristics we can
identify and interpret what the environment is explaining to us. My area of choice is northern Iowa City, which has an environment that tells me it is a

Importance Of Deserving My Education
I am deserving of this award due to how I have faced the challenges in my life to continue and improve my education. Throughout my life I've made
sacrifices that most of my peers would not do willingly. From childhood I knew that achieving the best grades and challenging myself in
academics would allow me to pursue what I wanted later in life, and I knew it wouldn't be easy. I have sacrificed uncountable amounts of hours
that I could have spent with friends or doing other fun activities, to study for my classes. As an example, my mom's side of the family has had
many funerals in the recent past. I have chose to miss some of these funerals to stay in school. I do not do this because I don't love my relatives. I

Do later start times in school help kids stay focussed throughout the day? Many schools have been asking this question. Some schools have even
already changed their start times to be later in the morning. I believe that school start times should stay the same way that they are, because of
weaknesses that could be avoided that go with later start times. I will present reasons that the same start times schools use now are fine for students
today. One reason to keep start times in the morning for school the same, is that the later start times had not reduced the amount of tardies very much.

No one was degrading my dream, it was just that, my score on the practice test for the SHSAT wasn't good enough to get into Stuyvesant or any
school. The SHSAT is out of 800 points. There are 2 sections, Math and Verbal. Each section is 400 points, the math section had 50 questions and
the verbal had 45 questions. A school to get into Stuyvesant is around 600. I was getting around the 430's. I always said to myself. "It's too early

Summary
The realization that I was unequivocally now a graduate student occured to me when I was sitting across from the counselor that I was interviewing
for this project. The feelings I experienced beforehand were both excitement and anxiety. I felt nervous about being a guest at a high school and
interviewing a seasoned counselor. However, I was thrilled about learning from a veteran in the field and having the freedom to ask the questions that I
wanted to know.
The School Counselor that I interviewed was Ben Fraga of Iowa City High School. Similar to me, Fraga had received his College degree in
psychology before pursuing a career in School Counseling. He had received his degree from the University of Iowa (near his hometown) before
traveling to Arizona State for a Masters degree in School Counseling. After graduating and completing his internship, he applied to many school
counseling positions in the midwest region. He ended up receiving a position at Lane Tech High School near chicago (close to where I grew up).
Fraga spent nine years as a school counselor at Lane Tech before getting a position at City High and moving back to where he grew up in Iowa
city. Ben has now been a School Counselor for fourteen years. For the first five years of his tenure as a counselor Ben was able to manage being a

Jensen, the band director from 2012 until now her at the Webster CityHigh School. I learned about some of the previous band directors, what the
uniforms were like, that we had fundraised more before, learned of more awards and even heard a few stories of the band. He also gave me contact
information on other band directors that taught at Webster City and an article from The Iowa Bandmaster Magazine. He was also very credible since
he got a chance to work with the band over these years, but some of his information was inherited by previous directors, so some of it isn't as credible

My journey to get through nursing school has been nothing short of difficult and I have learned so much about myself over the past four years. After
graduating from high school, I attended the University of Iowa where I was originally majoring in athletic training to fulfill prerequisites for medical

While living in Iowa I met a guy named Ryan at church. He was one of the first people to befriend me and I spend most of my time outside of class
with Ryan and after a few months we started dating. I began working at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) in high risk obstetrics
specializing in fetal diagnosis and treatment during my second semester. I worked with amazing nurses who inspired me daily to continue pursuing
my dream of becoming a nurse. The more I talked to them and asked them questions, the more my passion for nursing grew. The nurses provided
