Purpose of the course
• to prepare participants for analytical and practical work
related to idea management by introducing useful methods
and theories.
• connect business professionals through engaging
conversations around current research on the topic of idea
management.

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:
• give an account of theories on idea management.
• apply methods for idea generation, idea refinement and idea
assessment.
• reflect on the different stages in the idea development process.
• analyse the idea development process of e.g. your own
organisation and assess possible areas of improvement.

reflect on the specific theme in the different modules.

Write a final reflection where you analyse an
organisation´s idea development process, and
propose areas of improvement, based on your
theoretical and practical experiences from
the course.
