of Higher Learning after graduation
• Maximum of one Scholarship per Awardee
• Selection of the Cole Cougar PAWS
recipients will be made without regard to
race, gender, religion or national origin

7. When is the deadline? Really?
Wednesday - April 3rd, 2019
(First Wednesday in April)
Does the packet have to be complete to count??? YES!!

8. How do I apply?
Fill out application Located on CHS Cougar PAWS Website - under Scholarships
Get 2 recommendations
Compose Student Essay One page, New Times Roman, 12 font
Create a Student Resume
Print off hard copy
Get signatures
Complete online training
Turn Packet into Ms. Sandoval no later than the first Wed in April
April 3rd, 2019!

9. First things first...
Personal Data form and Counselor’s Report form must be
received by Mrs. Sandoval in order to begin the application
process
Each scholarship application must include 2 recommendation forms
as described:
Academic: at least one teacher
Fine Arts: at least one teacher/director
Athletics: at least one CHS coach for which they have played
The second recommendation should be from anyone with a
comprehensive knowledge of the applicant’s abilities as they relate to that
particular scholarship as well as their character and sense of responsibility

• First Command Eligibility
– Complete FCEF Basic Finances 4 all (30
minute online free course)
– www.fcef.com/basic-finances-4-
all/users/register
– Print certificate and attach to Certification
Statement in your packet
