1. EVACUATION PLAN POETA JUAN OCHOA
SCHOOL
INFORMATION ABOUT EVACUATION DRILL
• One day of next week we will do a
prescriptive evacuation drill in our
educative centre.
• In it we will organise the preventive
performances in case of need of
evacuation and our students will
learn to identify the sings that show
the way out of the building as well as
the ones that show the fire extintion
elements.
• It is interesting that the families find
these sings in public and private
buildings, to reinforce the didactic
purpose of this activity.
3. RULE 1: Students will follow their teacher’s
instructions and never act on their own initiative.
4. RULE 2: those students with specific functions (close
windows, remove obstacles, help other people…) will be
responsible for the fullfillment of their obligations and
cooperate in keeping the group calm.
5. RULE 3: students will NOT pick up personal items, to
avoid obstacles and delays.
6. RULE 4: Those students who are in the loo, must
rush to their groups as soon as the alarm goes off, if
they are on another floor, they will join the nearest
group instead and look for their group once they are
out of the building, telling their teacher before.
7. RULE 5: Every movement will be done quick
and orderly, never running, pushing or
running over the rest.
9. RULE 7: students will evacuate the centre in silence,
orderly, avoiding running overs and helping those
with moving difficulties or those who have fallen
down.
10. RULE 8: Evacuation will be done in single file.
Students on the first floor, will wait for teacher’s
instructions to go downstairs, as they have to wait
for their evacuation turn.
11. RULE 9: During evacuation all the furniture
and school equipment must be respected.
12. RULE 10: In case there is an obstacle in the way out,
students will try to move it, if possible, so noone
falls down.
13. RULE 11: Under no cirscumstances will a
student come back.
14. RULE 12: Groups will remain united at every momment and
will meet the other grupos at the playground, placing
themselves at the first free place at the right of the exit door,
so the playground fills in from right to left.
