3. Components of Environment
1) The natural or the physical environment
- All the living and non-living things that occur
naturally on earth. Examples of non-living are
mountains, valleys, steep slopes etc. Living are human
beings, natural vegetation, other organisms etc
2) The human environment or built environment
- It refers to things which are created or modified by
the human beings. For example houses, railways,
roads, canals, electricity, network of telephone lines,
shipyard and aerodromes, agriculture etc.

Set up factories at far places
