Environment is all living things and
non living thingswhat around us. It is
the sum of all external conditions and
influences that affect the organisms.

environment
• Using chemical fertilizers,
insecticides and herbicides
to increase production
actually pollutes the air, soil
and water with toxic
chemicals. Fertilizer run-
offs cause toxic algal
blooms that kill aquatic
animals.

habitat loss and
threatens the survival
of numerous species

plants.
