Year-end Report
2019
1
sec@sasin.edu | www.sasin.edu/sec | www.facebook.com/SasinSEC
Seven years after the establishment of the Sasin Center for Sustainability
Management and four years after the establishment of the Sasin
Entrepreneurship Center, the sister centers officially combined forces to
become Sasin’s Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SEC) that is today
recognized as the driver for embedding sustainability management thinking
and an entrepreneurial mindset into mainstream business functions.
We have a growing network of professionals and students who come
together for our many events, some of them under Net Impact’s Sasin-based
Bangkok Professional Chapter. Among these events are lunch meetings led
by world-class speakers; site visits; networking nights; and film screenings.
A striking transformation that began towards the end of 2019 was
Sasin management’s decision to raise sustainability and entrepreneurship as
twin focuses for the School’s strategic emphasis.
We are happy to share our latest dynamic year with you and look forward to
inspiring everyone in the pursuit of sustainability and entrepreneurship during
2020 and beyond!

SEC Year-end report 2019

  • 1. sec@sasin.edu | www.sasin.edu/sec | www.facebook.com/SasinSEC Year-end Report 2019 1
  • 2. sec@sasin.edu | www.sasin.edu/sec | www.facebook.com/SasinSEC Seven years after the establishment of the Sasin Center for Sustainability Management and four years after the establishment of the Sasin Entrepreneurship Center, the sister centers officially combined forces to become Sasin’s Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SEC) that is today recognized as the driver for embedding sustainability management thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset into mainstream business functions. We have a growing network of professionals and students who come together for our many events, some of them under Net Impact’s Sasin-based Bangkok Professional Chapter. Among these events are lunch meetings led by world-class speakers; site visits; networking nights; and film screenings. A striking transformation that began towards the end of 2019 was Sasin management’s decision to raise sustainability and entrepreneurship as twin focuses for the School’s strategic emphasis.
