4. Seshadripuram Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) and Seshadripuram Academy for Global
Excellence (SAGE) are flagship management institutions under the aegis of Seshadripuram
Educational Trust (SET) which has been a symbol of quality education accessible by people hailing
from different social and economic strata, in the state of Karnataka for almost nine decades now.
Our management institutions have upheld the highest standards of academic delivery to students
while being adaptive to the dynamic higher education ecosystem of our country.
In its two decades of operation, SIMS has produced the finest management graduates who are currently occupying prestigious
positions in organizations across the world. The diversity of students studying in the institution provides for a healthy learning
atmosphere which has been revered by the parents of our candidates. Learning beyond the classroom is a daily affair at SIMS
where students are given opportunities to hone their management skills through active participation in seminars, workshops,
conferences, and skill development events across the country. Students are encouraged to work as part-time interns in the
industry through out their MBA program which gives them the problem-solving and team-playing skills that the world is looking
for, in management graduates today.
To render a global exposure to students, Seshadripuram Academy for Global Excellence (SAGE) was established by SET where
students pursue collaborative master's degree programs in Management, Computer Science, and Law with universities in the
United States of America. SAGE has been operational for 14 years now and has an alumni strength of well over 150 all of
whom lookback at SAGE as the institution which opened the doors of global opportunities for them.
Our management programs at both SIMS and SAGE have been tailor-made to not only render the students the employable
workforce of our country but as responsible citizens of our great nation with a strong foundation of culture and values. Our
pursuit of achieving the right balance between academic development and personality development of our students has helped
us in developing a rational working model in our management institutes where members of the faculty double up as life coaches
and mentors for the candidates. With the right amount of mentoring and personal training, we continue to be a premier
conglomerate of institutions that students look up to as avenues of hope, growth, and success.
Management education today has the challenge of matching the expectations of the ever-changing corporate world. We, at
SIMS make sincere efforts to nurture budding Managers and Entrepreneurs with knowledge, skills and attitude. Industry
academia collaboration is done on a continuous basis to understand the needs of the corporate world and imbibe it in our
curriculum.
SIMS aims for holistic development of students. Lot of gateways is created towards co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
through out their course. Student diversity in terms of educational background and regions of origin enables multicultural
learning environment and brings a wholesome understanding of personnel dynamics during the course tenor.
Our students have been placed in a wide range of corporate companies as Managers and have grown to senior management
levels over the years. Some of them have been successful in their own business ventures too. This has led to a strong alumni
network at SIMS making a strong rooted institution.

Industrial Visit
The Academy of Management & Corporate Attitude
Development in Mysuru hosted a three day training
program for first semester students, with two batches
on 29th March & 3rd April 2023 participating.

HMT Museum 25th February 2023
A one-day excursion to the HMT Museum was organized for first-semester MBA
students on 25-02-2023. We enjoyed learning the amazing collection of
watches including machineries and at the end was a tractor ride for all of us.
PYRAMID VALLEY - 20th March-2023
We visited the Pyramid Valley Foundation with the aim of meditation, where we
received the strong cosmic energy. The visit was very recreational.
ISKCON AKSHAYA PATRA - 25th March 2023,
We had a visit to Iskcon Akshaya Patra. One of the members of their foundation
guided us about their NGO, the main aim of taking us there was to have positive
mindset on society’s well-being by helping poor hands.
One day industrial visit was organized for 2nd year students to Prajavani
Printing Press, and Sulla Wine yard on 18th November 2022 to show the
production process and the layout establishment of the industries.

20. International Mother Language Day 2023
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, Rotaract Club of
SIMS had organized various events on 11th March 2023. The main motto
of this event was to promote linguistic, cultural, diversity and
encourages multilingualism. All the students were enthusiastically
coordinated and took active participation in the event.
ROTARACT CLUB OF SIMS
HIKE AND PICK -19th JANUARY 2023
This event was intended to spread awareness about National Pollution
Control Day & to Motivate individuals to use less plastic. Shivagange
Hills was selected to showcase the awareness of cleanliness and many
Students helped to clean up the surroundings of this hill.
MEGA BLOOD CAMP - 9th FEBRUARY 2023
This camp's goals were to provide assistance, convey love, and raise
awareness for human life. There were many youngsters that
volunteered and inspired others to do the same. Donors received a
certificate and a token of appreciation.
Women’s day – 9th march 2023
On the occasion of women’s day, cooking without fire competition event
was organized for all the students and the games was organized for all
the women staff. In this program students were educated about gender
equality and how to treat and respect women .

21. Session on MSME-12TH April 2023
A session was organized for MBA 3rd and 1st Semester students .The
session was to promote employment opportunities in rural areas .
Environmental Day - 5th June 2023
Rotaract club of SIMS conducted a programme about Raising
Environmental Consciousness and Awareness among students, where
everyone actively took part in planting saplings which encouraged
them to use less plastic, and also they were informed about
alternatives and importance of recycling of E-waste.
Election Awareness Program – 6th May 2023
The Election Awareness Program was conducted in the campus. The
purpose of this event was to promote – ‘Vote for Better Future’.

On 12th March 2023,
The Rotaract club of Sims and Gandhi Study center conducted awareness
program on Lake and Yoga by spreading awareness on empowering
individuals to progress towards well-being and good health, and also to
maintain friendly environment.

22. ROTRACT INSTALLATION 2022-23
This campaign generated awareness about how a student must participate
in social activities with the goal of serving society and make sure that they
will always execute all of their tasks when ever necessary. Also
coordinated the establishment of the Rotaract club for the years 2022–
2023.
SESSION ON SANITIZATION - 8th June2023
In accordance with creating awareness about Gender Sensitization and
Drug Abuse among youths, Rotract club of SIMS conducted a seminar with
this regard. Sabitha Seetharam was invited as the resource person to
speak on this issue.
