1. The Gingerbread Lizard

Once upon a very sunny day, there was once
was a mother pig and her young son Joey the
pig. One day Joey and his mother decided to
bake a gingerbread cookie. Joey had always
loved lizards, so they decided that they would
bake a gingerbread lizard. They didn't have an
oven so they put him in the sun and he baked
perfectly. They took the gingerbread lizard to
town and let him walk around for a little bit.
He told every single animal in town a
very nice compliment.
The next day the gingerbread lizard
decided that he wanted to go out for an
adventure, so he packed his things and headed
out. Later that day all of the other animals
wondered where he had gone. They looked
everywhere, but they just couldn't find him.

2. Finally one of the animals said , " He ran away.
" They all ran off to find him. Finally they
found him crossing a river . Then the
gingerbread man saw them and yelled out,
"You cant see me I'm the gingerbread lizard."
Then he suddenly disappeared. He started to
slowly creep across the river. Then when he
reached the end he ran as fast as he could,
then he heard no one so he decided to rest for
a while, then he slowly fell asleep. Then the
animals ran by without even seeing the
gingerbread lizard because he blended in with
the tree. Then the elephants
ran by and the last baby elephant was very
clumsy and accidentally sat on the gingerbread
lizard and he was crushed. As for the rest of
the animals, they just kept on running and
running, except for the smart ones who
decided to head back and not waste their time
running. And still today the gingerbread lies
under the tree that now people call the
gingerbread tree.
