Panel Discussions on the Matters that Matter
Insertech had its vision very c1earfrom the day one. With the objective statement of "In Searchof
Technological Excellence", Insertech was initiated as a forum to bring academicians and the
industrialists at the same platform thus helping in the all round development of the budding
industrial engineers, preparing them for the challenges ahead lying in their well accepted role of
change leaders.

The Objectives:
lnsertech was initiated with three well-defined objectives. First, it was initiated to groom the
future managers for the real life challenges, listen to the practitioners and discover what it takes
to be a real winner. This acts as a foundation stone for making them clear of the roles they have to
take up just few years down the line. Secondly, Insertech is a great learning and practicing
opportunity for the students. Organizing event of such a dimension needs proper planning,
target setting, job identification, division of work, and a very perfect cohesion among all the
subsections and as every Insertech organization committee has discovered, practice is the best
learning.

The Shared Common Purpose
These are tumultuous times for Indian industries and businesses. The world is in the throes of
transformation and so are we. The competition brought about by globalization and spurt in
information technology has completely changed the rules of the game.              As nations are
becoming linked through a single interdependent global economy driven by information, the
risks are great and so are the opportunities. In this changed scenario, the competitiveness of an
organization will depend on its ability to not only respond to these changes with agility, but also
on its proactive efforts in bracing itself for the demands of the future. It would require the
budding professionals to be groomed about the real life situations and the roles they are likely to
take up in their career.

Through Insertech NITIE's industrial engineers took a joint step to live up to fhe challenges of
future. They all have a common purpose - "to enable organizations to deliver maximum value to
customers by simultaneously focusing on the key strategic imperatives of quality, cost, delivery
and safety".
