Diversity is one of the strengths of Europe, but we can observe and
feel overt/covert discrimination at social, cultural and economic
level. Racism and xenophobia are among the most widespread
forms of discrimination that individuals experience because of their
origin, culture, language, or lifestyle. Nowadays – due to the actual
political, economic and social situations worldwide – migration is
one of the most important questions within the EU and in the world,
and we face situations and challenges day by day in connection with
interculturality.

It is essential nowadays to not only improve our intercultural
competences and sensitivity, but also to develop good practices,
methods which could help to understand, tolerate, accept each
other and support the social, educational integration of children and
young people coming from minority groups or have migrant
background.

NEELI
is implementing a consistent programme of researches, seminars,
study visits, youth exchange in a partnership with EU and non EU-
countries in order to improve youth work (focused on young people
with migrant background or coming from minority groups) through
sharing best practices, techniques and training of
multipliers/mentors/youth workers. Our second goal is to collect
best practices and develop e-learning materials intercultural
learning.The learning material addresses youth workers, mentors,
educators, who are working with young people with migrant
background and who are open to use non-formal learning methods.

polas declaracións de dereitos fundamentais, que se pode
fornecer a través desta plataforma.
 Pode resultar útil contar coa información en español ou noutras
linguas ademais do inglés.

 Conecta Cultura é unha iniciativa daConsellería de Política Social
no marco do Plan Proxecta da Consellería de Educación.
 Ademais do tema introdutorio, imprescindible para unha boa
comprensión da interculturalidade, o segundo bloque temático
está centrado ao completo na Educación Intercultural.
 Pero non podemos perder de vista a necesidade de abordaxe das
problemáticas específicas de resolución de conflitos, incluíndo a
mediación entre iguais, que ten aquí un novo fundamento que
pode complementar as metodoloxías que xa se están a usar.

 Posibilidade de incorporar NEELI ao proxecto BROS
 Son dúas as dimensións básicas a reforzar na nosa metodoloxía de
traballo:
1. O empoderamento da xente nova (esp. con antecedentes
migratorios ou pertencentes a minorías étincas).
2. A participación democrática, convertendo o proxecto non só
nunha ferramenta de inserción laboral, senón tamén nunha escola
de participación democrática.
 A esas dúas dimensións debemos engadir a perspectiva de xénero
de forma activa.

  • 3. Que é o proxecto NEELI Diversity is one of the strengths of Europe, but we can observe and feel overt/covert discrimination at social, cultural and economic level. Racism and xenophobia are among the most widespread forms of discrimination that individuals experience because of their origin, culture, language, or lifestyle. Nowadays – due to the actual political, economic and social situations worldwide – migration is one of the most important questions within the EU and in the world, and we face situations and challenges day by day in connection with interculturality.

Que é o proxecto NEELI It is essential nowadays to not only improve our intercultural competences and sensitivity, but also to develop good practices, methods which could help to understand, tolerate, accept each other and support the social, educational integration of children and young people coming from minority groups or have migrant background.
  • 5. Que é o proxecto NEELI NEELI is implementing a consistent programme of researches, seminars, study visits, youth exchange in a partnership with EU and non EU- countries in order to improve youth work (focused on young people with migrant background or coming from minority groups) through sharing best practices, techniques and training of multipliers/mentors/youth workers. Our second goal is to collect best practices and develop e-learning materials intercultural learning.The learning material addresses youth workers, mentors, educators, who are working with young people with migrant background and who are open to use non-formal learning methods.

  • 17. Tres formas de impulsar os froitos do proxecto NEELI 1. Unha nova perspectiva para o traballo en MEDIACIÓN INTERCULTURAL E INCLUSIÓN SOCIAL 2. A Educación Intercultural: CONECTA CULTURA como proposta desde a Consellería de Política Social para a Consellería de Educación. 3. Unha proposta de PARTICIPACIÓN E DINAMIZACIÓN XUVENIL (Proxecto Bros).
  • 18. Mediación Intercultural e inclusión  Liña de traballo promovida desde a Orde de Entidades da Consellería de Política Social.  Posibilidade de formar e dinamizar axentes de mediación intercultural desde o produto final do proxecto NEELI  Tamén existe información básica de tipo xurídico, comezando polas declaracións de dereitos fundamentais, que se pode fornecer a través desta plataforma.  Pode resultar útil contar coa información en español ou noutras linguas ademais do inglés.
  • 19. CONECTA CULTURA  Conecta Cultura é unha iniciativa daConsellería de Política Social no marco do Plan Proxecta da Consellería de Educación.  Ademais do tema introdutorio, imprescindible para unha boa comprensión da interculturalidade, o segundo bloque temático está centrado ao completo na Educación Intercultural.  Pero non podemos perder de vista a necesidade de abordaxe das problemáticas específicas de resolución de conflitos, incluíndo a mediación entre iguais, que ten aquí un novo fundamento que pode complementar as metodoloxías que xa se están a usar.
  • 20. Participación social e mocidade inmigrante  Posibilidade de incorporar NEELI ao proxecto BROS  Son dúas as dimensións básicas a reforzar na nosa metodoloxía de traballo: 1. O empoderamento da xente nova (esp. con antecedentes migratorios ou pertencentes a minorías étincas). 2. A participación democrática, convertendo o proxecto non só nunha ferramenta de inserción laboral, senón tamén nunha escola de participación democrática.  A esas dúas dimensións debemos engadir a perspectiva de xénero de forma activa.
