Bhrigu devised a test to determine which of the gods was supreme. He offended Brahma and Shiva in turn, and they reacted angrily. However, when he kicked Vishnu's chest, Vishnu humbly asked if Bhrigu's foot was harmed. Impressed by Vishnu's humility, Bhrigu concluded that Vishnu, or Krishna, was the supreme god, as Krishna embodied all good qualities without equal. The story demonstrates that Krishna should be accepted as the supreme being.
