Visual pollution disturbs people's visual areas by creating negative changes to the natural environment through various forms like billboards, trash storage, space debris, phone towers, electric wires, buildings, and cars. It also includes excessive, misdirected, or obtrusive artificial light known as light pollution, as well as disturbing or excessive noise from machines, vehicles, aircraft and trains that harms human or animal life, called noise pollution. Graffiti, defined as unauthorized writing or drawings on walls or surfaces, especially in public places, is another form of visual pollution.
